Vacancy: Learning Support Assistant & MDSA

£25,183 - £25,992 pro rata    

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with some of our SEN and pupil premium pupils across school.  The position will be 19 hours per week (LSA) and 5 hours per week (MDSA) term time only.  Please call for more detailed information.

The successful candidate needs excellent communication and liaison skills and will be closely supported by the class teachers and SENCO, along with all staff in our very dedicated and highly motivated team at Derry Hill.

Previous experience of working with children with SEN needs is essential and experience of working with children with trauma would be desirable. 

The role will also include working across school as an Midday Supervisor during lunch time. 

The position will initially be on a fixed term contract until March 2026 (subject to funding).
